Join us for the 2nd Annual OperAloha, a multi-cultural and multi-genre showcase of sensational Opera Talent celebrating the diverse musical traditions of Hawai'i!
After its successful premiere at the Kahilu Theater in 2023, we are thrilled to be coming back and bringing this special showcase to O'ahu in the Honolulu Room of the Sheraton Waikiki on Thursday January 18, 6pm! This year’s stunning talent line up includes mezzo-soprano Nikola Printz, tenor Moisés Salazár, bass-baritone Samson Setu, soprano Maria Valdes, and producer/pianist Ronny Michael Greenberg.
Program highlights include The King Kamehameha/Fledermaus Waltz arranged by Ronny Michael Greenberg, Keola Beamer's Honolulu City Lights alongside William Bolcom's New York Lights, Shinpei Nakayama and Isamu Yoshiiby's Gondola No Uta, Rossini’s Quartet “La Passeggiata”, and Autumn Moon on a Calm Lake by Lü Wencheng to name a few.
